TomeHollow ("we," "us") runs tomehollow.com and makes Book Writer. We're a small, US-based software workshop. This page explains what information we collect, why, and what we do with it. We keep it short because we collect very little.

What we collect

Your purchase details. When you buy Book Writer, our payment processor, Stripe, collects your email address and payment information to process the sale. We receive your email address and a confirmation of your purchase. We never see or store your full card number; Stripe handles payment securely on its own systems.
Your email address. We use it to send your download link and license key, to handle refunds and support, and to reach you about your purchase if needed.
Basic site analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly tool that measures aggregate visits and traffic sources. It does not use tracking cookies and does not identify you personally.
Your writing stays with you. Book Writer saves your manuscripts locally on your own computer. Your writing is never sent to us or anyone else.

How we use it

We use the information above only to deliver your purchase and license key, provide support and refunds, understand general site traffic, and send you important messages about something you bought. We do not send marketing email unless you ask us to.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it only with the services that run the store: Stripe for payments, Google (Gmail) to send your delivery email, and Vercel for website hosting and analytics. Each of these companies has its own privacy practices.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address and purchase records for as long as we need them to provide support, honor refunds, and meet legal and accounting requirements. You can contact us to ask what we hold or to request deletion, subject to records we're required to keep.

Children

Book Writer and this website are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we update this policy, we'll change the date at the top. Continued use of the site or app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
